1. Press NO/EDIT while the recorder is stopped, playing, or paused. appears in the display.

2. Turn AMS knob until appears in the display.

3. Press the AMS knob or the YES button.

4. Turn the AMS knob until the desired track to be erased is displayed.

5. Press the AMS knob or the YES button. appears briefly in the display then disappears. To cancel this operation at anytime before completion, press the NO/EDIT or press .
If appears in the display, the track was recorded or edited on another MD unit. If this appears press YES to erase the track.

Notes on Erasing Tracks
Erasing a track is a simple as selecting the track to be deleted and deleting it. When a track is erased, the track numbers are reassigned (example: track 2 is erased - what was track 3 becomes track 2 and all subsequent tracks slide back one number).
