Naming a Track on Sony MDS-E11

Notes on Naming Tracks
1700 characters can be stored for all names on the MiniDisc. Do not name tracks while they are recording or the name may be discarded if the recording ends before you are done naming the track.

1. Press the NO/EDIT button when the recorder is stopped, paused or playing. appears briefly in the display.

2. If necessary, turn the AMS knob until appears in the display.

3. Press the AMS knob or the YES button.

4. Turn the AMS knob until the desired track number flashes in the display as follows: . (This will name track 3).

5. Press the AMS knob or the YES button.

6. Turn the AMS knob to cycle the character type. The character type cycles from:

· Uppercase Letters
· Lowercase Letters
· Numbers
· Punctuation & Symbols

7. Press the for a space. Press to backspace. Press the NO/EDIT button to erase the character at the current cursor position.

8. Press the AMS knob or to advance to the next character.

9. Press YES when finished.
