Notes on Naming Tracks
A total of 1700 characters can be stored for all names on the MiniDisc. Do not name tracks while they are recording or the name may be discarded if the recording ends before you are done naming the track.

1. Press the MENU/NO button when the recorder is stopped, paused or playing. appears in the display.

2. If necessary, turn the AMS knob until appears in the display.

3. Press the AMS knob or the YES button. appears in the display.

4. Turn the AMS knob until the desired track number is displayed as follows: . (This will name track 3).

5. Press the AMS knob or the YES button.

6. Select characters by turning the AMS knob. Press the LEVEL/DISPLAY/CHAR button to cycle the character type. The character type cycles from:

· Uppercase Letters
· Lowercase Letters
· Numbers
· Punctuation & Symbols

7. Press the for a space. Press to backspace.

8. Press the AMS knob or to advance to the next character.

9. Press YES when finished.
