Naming Tracks On The Denon MiniDisc Unit
1. Select the track to name by turning the silver selection knob. The display of the MD unit should show the desired track number to be named.
2. Press the
button. The display of the MD unit should read

3. Press the silver selection knob. The display of the
MD unit should read
4. Turn the silver selection knob until the display reads
5. Press the silver selection knob to select this editing
function. The name display of the MD unit should show a flashing cursor over
a letter:
6. You may switch the "Black Box" on the mix dub studio
to the appropriate MiniDisc unit to provide keyboard access for typing the
name. If a "Black Box" is not available, you must turn the silver
knob to select the appropriate character, and use the
button to switch from:
Capital Letters | ABCDEFGHIJKL... |
Lower Case Letters | abcdefghijkl.... |
Numbers | 1234567890 |
Symbols | !@#$%^&*... |
You will need to use the
buttons to advance the cursor or move the cursor back without the use of a
computer keyboard.
7. After the track name is entered, press the
button. The MD Unit should display
and return to the
